“Human-Caused Global Warming” activists are using this theory to promote more government power and regulation.
Was this their objective all along? Substantial scientific evidence contradicts the claims often made by the activists, from Al Gore to environmentalist and scientists, who promote this theory as fact.
When such evidence contradicting this theory exists, why have these people persisted in pushing this? Certainly the political left pushes this because it creates a basis for them to claim the need for more and more government programs and controls to solve the "global warming problem."

For your information, here are a few facts that shed light on the false claims of Global Warming enthusiasts:
- Less than half of published scientists believe man-made global warming theories
- September 2007: Hundreds of scientists challenge claims that global warming is man-made
- August 2007: After further study, NASA backtracks on earlier claims and now says that:
- 1934—not 1998—was the hottest year on record
- 1921—not 2006—was the 3rd hottest year on record
- And NASA further states that
- Three of the five hottest years on record occurred before 1940 and
- 6 of the top 10 hottest years occurred before 90% of the growth in “greenhouse gas” emissions occurred in the last century
- More than a dozen global warming cycles similar to ours have occurred since the last Ice Age
- Our modern warming is linked strongly to variations in the sun's irradiance
- Sea levels are failing to rise as much as has been claimed by global warming advocates
- Our storms and droughts are becoming fewer and milder with this warming as they did during previous global warmings
- Human deaths will be reduced with warming because cold kills twice as many people as heat
- Corals, trees, birds, mammals, and butterflies are adapting well to the routine reality of changing climate
- One example of typical global warming bias in the media:
In May 2007 the portions of the east coast of Australia experienced record warm weather, leading global warming promoters to claim this was proof of their theory. But they conveniently ignored the weather in June 2007 when the entire continent of Australia experienced the coldest weather since 1950!
