Opponents of Property Rights believe governments at all levels should control every aspect of our lives and property.
These people, with a "Berkeley" mentality, believe that property owners should continue to maintain their property in its present condition and use, and continue to pay the property taxes, so the general public can have the benefit of permanently viewing private property (they call agricultural parcels, for example, a “viewshed” which has strong property-control implications).
